Clients & CRM

Give clients a clearer place to work with you.

Customers often need a document, an update or a way to raise a question outside a scheduled call. The Pixie CRM customer portal brings selected parts of that relationship into a branded self-service area. It gives customers a useful route to information while your team controls what is shared.

Design the portal around common customer tasks

Begin with the activities clients ask about most: finding an invoice, checking a project document, responding to a proposal or following a support request. Make the status and next action clear for each one. Link files to the right customer and project, and use recognisable names instead of internal shorthand. A customer contact who handles payments may need different access from a project reviewer, so portal roles should follow actual responsibilities.

Keep internal and shared information distinct

Decide which notes, attachments and discussions belong in the client view before making them available. Test access using representative customer roles, including a contact with limited permissions. When people leave a customer organisation, review their access promptly. Document sharing should use the configured portal controls, with access granted to the intended recipients. Review the information's sensitivity, retention needs and any contractual requirements when choosing how it is shared. The right setup depends on the information and the recipient.

Useful answers

What you might
be wondering.

Practical details for a better informed conversation.

Can customers see every internal note?

The portal should expose only the information intended for that customer and role. Review visibility during configuration and test it with sample customer accounts before inviting real contacts.

Can our branding appear in the portal?

Portal branding can be scoped using the brand and theme capabilities. Confirm the logo, colours, documents and communication touchpoints included in your implementation, then check them together for a consistent customer experience.
