Productivity integration

Keep customer context connected to everyday collaboration.

When a customer update lives in email, the meeting in a calendar and the supporting file elsewhere, colleagues can miss the connection between them. Pixie CRM and Google Workspace workflows can be scoped to bring that context closer to the customer record while keeping ownership and access clear.

Start with a useful shared workflow

Choose the activity that currently causes the most repeated work, such as coordinating customer meetings or finding the relevant project document. Define which account or team owns it and how it relates to a CRM customer or project. Agree what information should be visible in CRM and what should remain in the original Workspace service. Keeping that boundary clear helps staff find context without copying every message or file.

Keep sharing and synchronisation deliberate

For calendar activity, decide which system initiates updates and how changed or cancelled events are handled. For files, review the original sharing permissions and the intended audience of the CRM record. A staff change should trigger an ownership and access review where relevant. Confirm supported Google Workspace services, authorisation requirements and exchange scope during setup, then test the workflow with ordinary users as well as the administrator who connected it.

be wondering.

Practical details for a better informed conversation.

Will files be copied into Pixie CRM automatically?

That depends on the workflow agreed during scoping. A connection may use references or selected information rather than copying whole files. Confirm the intended behaviour, retention and access before enabling it.

How do we avoid duplicate calendar entries?

Define the source of each event and whether updates move in one direction or both. Test creation, changes and cancellation, and agree how staff recognise and resolve a conflict between systems.
