Payments integration

Connect payment events to the right invoice and customer.

A payment is useful to the team only when it is connected to the right customer and obligation. Pixie CRM's payment workflows can be assessed alongside Stripe to support that connection. The design should explain what the customer is paying, how the transaction is recognised and which record confirms the result.

Make the payment request understandable

Connect a payment link or request to a clear invoice or commercial reference. Confirm the amount, currency and customer details before it is sent. Agree how successful, pending and unsuccessful payment events are reflected in CRM, and which system sends the relevant receipt or confirmation. Avoid sending competing messages that leave the customer unsure whether a payment has been received.

Handle the cases that need a person

Test partial payments, duplicate notifications, refunds and failed transactions where they apply to your workflow. A repeated event should not create a second payment record. Decide who investigates unmatched transactions and how finance reconciles the CRM record with the provider account. Stripe account eligibility, payment methods, fees, settlement and other provider conditions need to be confirmed separately alongside the exact Pixie CRM integration scope.

Useful answers

What you might
be wondering.

Practical details for a better informed conversation.

Is a Stripe account required?

A Stripe-based payment workflow depends on an appropriate provider account and access. Confirm account ownership, supported payment requirements and the connection process during scoping; provider charges are separate from any assumed CRM price.

Does a payment link mean an invoice has been paid?

No. Creating or sending a link is different from receiving a successful payment event. The workflow should update the invoice only from the agreed evidence and keep a clear reference for finance to review.

Can subscription payments be discussed?

Yes. Explain the billing schedule, changes, failed-payment handling and cancellation process so the proposed solution can identify which responsibilities belong to Pixie CRM and which belong to Stripe.
