Prepare a document people can review
Start from an approved template and check the parties, scope, dates and commercial details for this specific relationship. Keep drafts distinguishable from the version issued for acceptance. Agree which changes require internal review and who has authority to approve them. The signature journey should make the document and the action being requested clear to the recipient, with appropriate evidence retained for the process.
Manage the agreement after acceptance
Record review and renewal dates, responsible owners and any conditions the delivery team needs to know. Link related project or service information without exposing the full contract unnecessarily. Changes after signature should follow a controlled amendment process. Electronic signatures and their suitability depend on the transaction, document and jurisdiction; the presence of a signature feature does not by itself establish that a particular legal formality has been satisfied.
