When Pixie may fit
A small service team wants the customer, the work and the invoice in one place, with one standard plan. Run an enquiry, a project and an invoice draft through the trial before deciding.
Pixie will not fit if you need a permanent free standard plan or month-to-month billing.
When Zoho One may fit
Zoho One may fit if you want its wider app suite or already use several Zoho products. Essentials can cost less than Pixie, so compare the required workflows as well as the entry price.
Plan how your data comes in and goes out.
Zoho CRM supports module exports to CSV or XLSX, subject to permissions and edition limits. Other Zoho One apps have their own export steps; inventory each app you use. Read Zoho One’s export instructions.
In Pixie, the documented CSV Export Manager covers customers, contacts, leads, expenses and payments for authorised administrators. That is a defined export scope; agree any other records, attachments and history before moving them.
- List the records and relationships you need from Zoho One.
- Use its official export tools for a small sample that you are allowed to transfer.
- Map fields, owners, dates and linked records using the Pixie migration checklist.
- Test the sample in a trial, reconcile counts and totals, and agree any specialist migration work before the final switch.
Read the export and cancellation guidance. Complex migrations are quoted separately; do not cancel your existing system until you have checked the result.
Questions before you switch
How do the prices compare?
Not in every case. Zoho One Essentials lists 9 USD per user per month with annual billing. Pixie is 10 USD per user per month with six-month billing, or 9 USD with annual billing. Zoho One Standard has different all-employee and flexible-user rates. Compare the exact apps, eligibility and billing period.
Can I try before paying?
Both offer a trial. Pixie provides 14 days without a card and has no permanent free standard plan. Check Zoho’s current trial and edition terms on its own pricing page.
Can I move all my history automatically?
Do not assume a complete automatic migration. Export a small representative sample, map the fields and customer relationships, then test it in a Pixie trial. Agree attachments, email history, custom fields and any complex migration separately before switching.
Can I export my data if I leave Pixie?
The documented CSV Export Manager supports customers, contacts, leads, expenses and payments for authorised administrators. Confirm the route for other records, files and history before paying or moving data. Request cancellation and written confirmation before the next billing period.
Try your own workflow before choosing.
Start a 14-day Pixie trial without a payment card. Use a small sample to check the handover from customer to project to invoice. There is no automatic paid subscription at the end.
