Track task time in Pixie CRM using the live timer. Open the internal training task and review its In Progress status. This example is Not Billable and belongs to a fixed-rate training project. Recording time does not create an invoice or customer payment.
Choose Start Timer. The control changes to Stop Timer, showing that time recording is running for this task. Start the timer when you begin the work and stop it when the work pauses or finishes. Task status and recorded time remain separate.
Choose Stop Timer and enter a clear note describing the session. For this example, record a fictional website-brief review. Choose Save to close the timer. The task returns to Start Timer, ready for a later work session.
Open the Timesheets control and review the saved entry. Confirm the staff member, start time, end time and time spent. Reopen the task and check the completed entry again. The timer is stopped, and this internal task remains Not Billable.
