Translate the agreement into a delivery plan
Start with the accepted scope and identify the milestones, dependencies and approvals that matter. Assign task owners and record the information needed to begin each piece of work. Keep customer changes linked to the project so that the delivery team can assess their effect on time and billing. Where compliance evidence, inventory or logistics records are required, include the relevant modules in the process design instead of duplicating them in project notes.
Manage exceptions before they become surprises
Choose a small set of operational measures that lead to action: work without an owner, overdue milestones, unreviewed time or a handover missing information. Define what completion means and who can approve it. Automation can prompt the next step, while reports help managers identify a blocked process. Keep an exception route for unusual work and review repeated workarounds; they often reveal that the process or configuration needs adjustment.
