Before you start

Required access: Authorised linked customer contact; client Tax Centre enabled. The module must be enabled and its installed version ready for your workspace. Select the intended taxpayer, authority and period before changing a record.

How clients review filings in their Tax Centre

  1. Sign into the customer area and open Tax Centre.
  2. Review Your taxpayer profiles and HMRC obligations.
  3. Open each full HMRC Assist report, read all feedback and acknowledge it where required.
  4. Review Filing approvals & receipts. Inspect the exact frozen filing and choose Approve exact frozen filing only when authorised and satisfied.
  5. Open PDF receipt after the corresponding filing evidence is available.

Controls and limits

  • Only profiles linked to the customer are available. Primary-contact restrictions may apply.
  • Customer approval does not itself transmit the filing or guarantee HMRC acceptance.

Check the result

Reopen the affected record and confirm the taxpayer, period, saved values and status. For external actions, inspect the actual authority acknowledgement or settlement evidence; a local saved or queued state is not acceptance.

If you cannot continue

Read the displayed validation or readiness message. Check the module version, role, source scope, authority, period and current approval evidence. If another person changed the record, refresh and review the current version. Give support the screen, error wording and correlation reference; keep passwords, one-time codes and tax identifiers out of public messages.
