Understand GBP, USD and your billing country
Check how the billing country and IP location select the currency for a Pixie CRM subscription, and how existing invoices retain their currency.
Where to go
My Account → Subscriptions → Confirm your billing address
Before you start
- Use the actual billing country for the organisation paying the invoice. IP location supplies an initial display when there is no saved billing country.
Follow the steps
- Open Subscriptions and review Billing country in the address section.
- Select United Kingdom to view the CRM subscription quote in GBP. Select another billing country to view it in USD.
- Review the monthly rate, period total, annual discount where selected, and the currency in the confirmation sentence.
- Confirm the billing address before continuing. The selected billing country takes priority over IP detection; a UK IP does not override a saved non-UK billing country.
- When an invoice is issued, check its own currency in Billing & invoices and in the payment flow.
Check the result
- The quote and billing confirmation show the same currency. Three licences for a half-year are 180 in the selected currency; a full year is 324 with the current 10% annual discount.
If something is different
There is no saved billing country
A recognised UK IP gives an initial GBP display. Other or unknown IP locations give USD. You must still select and confirm a valid billing country.
A previous invoice uses another currency
Invoices are historical financial records. They keep their issued currency rather than being relabelled when your location or profile changes.
Other services show USD
VoIP recharge purchases and managed VPS packages currently use USD pricing. VoIP wallet credit is recorded in GBP using the payment flow's stated conversion. The CRM subscription currency rule does not convert those services.
