Understand Appointments summary cards
Pixie CRM guidance. Follow the route for your workspace, check your role and enabled modules, and verify the result before moving on.
Interpret the status and workload totals shown above appointment lists without confusing live operational counts with financial or performance reports.
What you’ll accomplish
Interpret the status and workload totals shown above appointment lists without confusing live operational counts with financial or performance reports. It uses Pixie CRM's permission-aware appointment, availability, status and integration flow rather than an unconnected diary entry.
How it works
Summary cards query appointment status and date data and present a compact entry point into the matching list.
Pending, in-progress, completed, cancelled and no-show are stored appointment statuses; date-based cards depend on the configured server and user timezone.
The cards do not replace the Reports area, which applies its own period and performance calculations.
Follow these steps
- Go to Appointments and note each displayed card.
- Select a card to open or filter the related records where the interface provides that action.
- Check the current date and timezone before interpreting today or tomorrow totals.
- Compare completed and cancelled counts with the reports period.
- Return to All appointments to clear the narrowed view.
Settings to check
Check it worked
After this workflow completes, Pixie CRM keeps the appointment and its supported relationships connected. Reopen the appointment and verify the saved status, date, timezone, customer or lead, service, provider, attendees, reminder state, calendar or meeting reference, invoice reference and history that apply to this feature. External email, SMS, Google, Microsoft or payment outcomes must be checked separately from the Pixie CRM database save.
- Open the saved appointment and confirm the final status and source.
- Check the participant, provider, timing and timezone from the full detail page.
- Review the relevant table filter, calendar, history, report or linked invoice instead of relying only on a success message.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Do not manually recalculate a card from a differently filtered table.
- A cancelled appointment is not the same as a no-show.
- Timezone differences can move a late-night appointment into another date card.
- Use the least destructive correction and retain the appointment history when the booking existed operationally.
- Never bypass a permission, availability, approval, client-access or verification control by changing an unrelated route or setting.
