Before you start

Use your own authorised staff account in the intended Pixie CRM workspace. The Sales CRM module must be available and your role must include the permissions stated above. Existing leads, customers, communications and customer portal pages retain their normal access rules.

Follow these steps

  1. Choose Retire on a flow that should no longer be used.
  2. Use Edit on a retired flow to correct its questions or product mappings.
  3. If its price book is retired, restore or replace the book through the normal price-book workflow before saving valid mappings.
  4. Save the repaired flow. It remains retired after the edit.
  5. Choose Restore when the active book and all mapped products are valid.
  6. Explore the restored flow and test the intended answer combinations.

Behavior and limits

  • Retirement keeps the definition and does not delete quotations previously prepared using its products.
  • Retired flows are hidden from ordinary staff. Administrators can still inspect and edit them.
  • Editing a retired flow does not reactivate it. Restore is a separate explicit action.
  • Restore checks the current price book and mapped native products. Invalid mappings must be repaired first.
  • Retiring a price book makes its flows unavailable to ordinary staff even if the flows themselves are active.
  • Editing, retiring or restoring a flow changes its version and invalidates older open questionnaires.
  • Previously saved quotations retain their existing terms and normal revision and approval rules; changing a flow does not rewrite them.

Check it worked

  • Confirm a retired flow is labelled Retired for administrators and unavailable to sellers.
  • After repair, check that the flow remains retired until Restore is selected.
  • After restoration, verify the questionnaire and product results against the current book.

Troubleshooting

  • If restore is refused, check whether the book is active and every mapped product still exists in it.
  • If a seller still has an old questionnaire open, ask them to reopen the current flow rather than retry old answers.
  • If you changed the book, review every question’s eligible products for unavailable mappings.
