Resolve Sales CRM validation and save conflicts
Recover from permission, validation, expired-session and concurrent-edit messages without overwriting another person’s work.
Where to goSales CRM → the form showing the message
Before you start
Use your own authorised staff account in the intended Pixie CRM workspace. The Sales CRM module must be available and your role must include the permissions stated above. Existing leads, customers, communications and customer portal pages retain their normal access rules.
Follow these steps
- Read the message and keep the intended changes available before refreshing.
- For a missing field, correct the highlighted or named information and submit again.
- For a stale revision, reopen the record, compare the current values and reapply only the changes still needed.
- For an expired session or request token, sign in through the normal workspace login and reopen the form.
- Reopen the saved record to verify the final result.
Behavior and limits
- The server checks every record’s workspace and access. A direct URL does not bypass permission checks.
- A rejected transaction does not apply a partial deal update.
- Creating deals and activities uses a unique request key to prevent duplicate records when the same submission is retried.
- No automatic email, telephone call, invoice, contract or payment is produced by these deal forms.
Check it worked
- Verify the saved values and history after the retry; do not rely only on a button changing appearance.
Troubleshooting
- If the same request repeatedly fails, record the page, time, action and message for your administrator. Do not share passwords, session cookies or request tokens.
- If a stage is inactive or belongs to another pipeline, choose an active stage from the selected pipeline.
- If a module storage message appears, an administrator should review the module installation and application logs rather than changing unrelated customer records.
