Report on scheduled activities and outcomes
Measure opportunity activity counts, completions and overdue reminders using the correct owner and date.
Where to goSales CRM → Reports → Saved reports → Create report → Records: Opportunity activities
Before you start
Use your own authorised staff account in the intended Pixie CRM workspace. The Sales CRM module must be available and your role must include the permissions stated above. Existing leads, customers, communications and customer portal pages retain their normal access rules.
Follow these steps
- Choose Opportunity activities as the record source.
- Select Record count, Completed activities or Overdue open activities. Group by activity owner, type, state, outcome, opportunity pipeline, stage or month.
- Choose Activity due date, Activity completion date or Created date and set the period.
- Use the opportunity filters to define the accessible pipeline population, then narrow Activity type or Activity state if needed.
- Preview, save and inspect a group’s underlying activity titles, owners, states and due times.
Behavior and limits
- Record count counts actual activity records associated with matching accessible opportunities. It does not multiply deal value by the number of activities.
- Completed counts state = Completed. Overdue counts state = Open with a due time before the current refresh time. Cancelled or completed activities are not overdue.
- Activity completion-date reports exclude open activities without a completion time. Choose due date to analyse scheduled work.
- Email activities are reminders; this source does not measure emails sent, delivered, opened or replied to. Calls and meetings likewise represent CRM activities rather than proof of a completed external communication.
- Grouping by Owner uses the activity owner. The Opportunity owner filter still filters ownership of the linked opportunity.
- Archived opportunities are excluded by default, but can be selected explicitly through Archive state.
Check it worked
- Compare a reported activity with its opportunity’s activity list, including type, due time, state and outcome.
- Use Activity state = Completed when the underlying list should contain only completed work.
Troubleshooting
- Zero overdue activity with a completion-date basis is expected because open reminders normally lack that date.
- If a staff member’s totals differ from another viewer’s, compare opportunity access before assuming missing activity data.
- Choose the workspace’s date and time conventions when comparing due times to the displayed refresh time.
