Where to goSales CRM → Forecast & targets

Before you start

Use your own authorised staff account in the intended Pixie CRM workspace. The Sales CRM module must be available and your role must include the permissions stated above. Existing leads, customers, communications and customer portal pages retain their normal access rules.

Follow these steps

  1. Choose From and To dates, then optionally restrict the owner and currency.
  2. Choose Update forecast.
  3. Review each currency’s table separately. Compare Won, Open pipeline, Weighted open, Won + commit, Best case, Target and Attainment.
  4. Open the contributing deals from the Deals screen using the same close-date and owner filters when investigating a number.

Behavior and limits

  • The period uses expected close date, including for won deals. Deals without a close date do not appear in dated forecasts.
  • Weighted open is the sum of each open deal’s value multiplied by its probability, rounded to two decimal places per deal.
  • Won + commit includes won deals and open Commit deals. Best case adds open Best case deals to that amount.
  • Lost and Omitted deals do not contribute to the open forecast. Different currencies are never converted or combined.
  • Won pipeline value is not collected invoice revenue. Use the existing accounting or payment reports for cash received.

Check it worked

  • For a 1,000.00 open deal at 25%, verify 250.00 weighted value in its currency. Compare a second currency separately.

Troubleshooting

  • If an expected deal is missing, check its close date, outcome, forecast category, archive status and your access.
  • If a target is absent, the owner, currency and both period dates must exactly match the saved target.
