Inspect and export account sales records
Navigate included customers and paged opportunities, then export account sales summaries or all matching deals.
Where to goSales CRM → Relationships → Account hierarchy → Sales overview → Export summary or Export all matching opportunities
Before you start
Use your own authorised staff account in the intended Pixie CRM workspace. The Sales CRM module must be available and your role must include the permissions stated above. Existing leads, customers, communications and customer portal pages retain their normal access rules.
Follow these steps
- Run the overview with the intended filters.
- Expand Included customers to review the accessible customer scope; select a name to return to that customer’s hierarchy.
- Use Previous opportunities and Next opportunities to inspect matching records in pages of 50.
- Select an opportunity title to open its normal native Sales CRM detail, which rechecks current access.
- Choose Export summary for currency-level counts, values and win rate.
- Choose Export all matching opportunities for every matching row in the loaded report, including rows on other display pages.
Behavior and limits
- The interface displays 50 opportunity rows per page. Both exports use the complete successful report, up to its 1,000-opportunity limit; they do not export a silently truncated result.
- Summary CSV includes customer, dates, scope, accessible customer count, matching opportunity count, generation time, access-scope note, date basis and currency metrics.
- Opportunity CSV includes opportunity title, customer, currency, outcome, stage, amount, weighted open amount, report date and date basis. Closed deals have no weighted open amount.
- Exports use the data loaded by the last successful run. Changing filters clears it and requires another run before exporting.
- CSV text is escaped to prevent formula-like customer or opportunity names from being interpreted as formulas.
- No contact email addresses, phone numbers, invoice balances, private custom-field values or unrelated native customer details are exported.
- Opening an opportunity or customer leaves the overview dialog and loads the requested native record with its usual access rules.
- If an overview exceeds its customer or opportunity limit, narrow its scope. No partial report is available for export.
Check it worked
- Read the export’s period, scope and generation time before using its numbers.
- Confirm the exported record count matches Matching opportunities, not just the current display page.
- Keep currency rows separate in subsequent spreadsheet calculations.
Troubleshooting
- If export controls are absent, run the overview successfully first.
- For a stale report, rerun it before downloading another file.
- If a clicked opportunity is unavailable, its current access or state may have changed since the report loaded.
- An empty successful overview can export metadata and headers without pretending that unseen records have zero value.
- If a spreadsheet reformats dates or identifiers, import the CSV with appropriate text and date settings.
