Understand the Sales CRM workspace
Track separate sales opportunities, their next actions and expected revenue without replacing your existing leads or customers.
Where to goStaff area → Sales CRM
Before you start
Use your own authorised staff account in the intended Pixie CRM workspace. The Sales CRM module must be available and your role must include the permissions stated above. Existing leads, customers, communications and customer portal pages retain their normal access rules.
Follow these steps
- Open Sales CRM from the staff menu. Select a pipeline to see its opportunities.
- Use Deals for the board or list, Forecast & targets for date-based revenue planning, and Sales setup for administrator configuration.
- Open a deal to review its value, stage, owner, expected close date, next step, linked records, custom fields, activities and history.
- Use the feature guides in this section for each operation. Help Centre content is public; deal data remains restricted to authorised staff.
Behavior and limits
- A deal is a separate sales opportunity. Creating one does not create or convert a lead, customer, invoice or contract.
- A customer or lead can be linked to more than one deal. Each deal has one owner, pipeline, stage and currency.
- The board displays up to 60 matching deals per page. Totals include every matching deal, including those on other pages.
- This module is a staff workspace. Existing customer portal workflows continue through their normal pages. Availability depends on the Sales CRM module and your role.
Check it worked
- Confirm that the selected pipeline, filters, owner and currency match the records you intended to inspect.
Troubleshooting
- If the menu is absent, an administrator should check module activation and your Sales CRM viewing permission. Creating or editing permission alone does not grant viewing access.
- If a deal is absent, check its owner, active/archive filter, pipeline and outcome before assuming it has been removed.
