Before you start

Use your own authorised staff account in the intended Pixie CRM workspace. The Sales CRM module must be available and your role must include the permissions stated above. Existing leads, customers, communications and customer portal pages retain their normal access rules.

Follow these steps

  1. Locate the current activity marked Cadence step and read its instructions.
  2. Carry out the call, meeting, task or email through your usual authorised workflow.
  3. Choose the actual outcome and select Complete.
  4. Review the newly scheduled step or the cadence’s completed state. If the run is paused, use Resume when it should advance.
  5. Use Deal history to review scheduling, pause, resume and ending events.

Behavior and limits

  • Completion records the selected outcome and completion time. It does not send an email or place a call on your behalf.
  • Cancelling the current generated activity pauses the run. Resume reopens that same activity.
  • Only the current open step of an active or paused run can be changed through activity controls. Earlier, completed or ended-run steps are protected from reopening.
  • Create a separate activity when additional work is needed after a recorded step. This preserves the original process history.
  • Deal detail shows the most recent 200 activities, 100 history events and ten cadence runs. These are display limits, not instructions to delete older history.
  • Activity reports use scheduled due dates and current outcomes. They are not a dedicated cadence conversion or reply-rate report.

Check it worked

  • Confirm the completed activity retains its recorded outcome and has no Reopen control.
  • Confirm the correct next step, due time and owner, or check the ending reason when the process completes.

Troubleshooting

  • If the wrong branch ran, review the recorded outcome and template configuration. Do not overwrite an earlier step; add an explanatory activity or start an appropriate new process.
  • If no next step appears, check whether the run is paused, the selected branch ends it, or the deal has closed.
  • If a generated activity is no longer editable, use the cadence’s current controls rather than resubmitting an old form.
